The proposal targets the regeneration of green islands at the roadway edge, identified as underutilized spaces with urban potential. Existing vegetation is retained and maintained, while new plantings consist of pollution resistant shrubs and perennials suited to difficult traffic conditions. Heavily exposed zones exclude lawns, as turf cannot be sustained in such locations, while more protected spaces allow the introduction of open green surfaces. The intervention aims to transform these islands into a coherent, functional landscape adapted to the street environment.
