The project aims to improve conditions in a bus depot yard by introducing vegetation zones capable of reducing overheating of asphalt and parking areas—an essential objective in the context of funding dedicated to urban mobility. Plantings are arranged compactly to prevent vehicle access onto curbs, and in narrow areas, shrub hedges have been used, a solution that eliminates the maintenance difficulties typical of lawn in confined spaces. The selected vegetation is perfectly adapted to the local climate and provides decorative appeal throughout the warm season, contributing to a functional, coherent, and more environmentally friendly yard.
