Pedestrian area redevelopment

Year2021LocationAlexandriaShare

The project organizes the pedestrian space in Alexandria through a series of thematic green islands, each structured according to plant character: areas with flowering plants, shrubs with red foliage, conifers, green plants, and ornamental grass compositions. The sinuous forms and organic circulation layout create a pleasant alternation between open spaces and intimate zones, shaped by vegetation. Existing trees are integrated into the new composition, and the species selection is adapted to local climate conditions to ensure resilience and visual coherence over time. The development has a strong social impact, offering residents a diverse, accessible, and easy-to-navigate public space.
